Cable constructions, both in roofs and in façades serve to minimise the required steel components for the sub-construction in the visible area as much as possible, and at the same time to maximise the surface of the glazed area.

Through the exclusive use by the sub-construction of tension, a high degree of fineness can be achieved which allows the development of very elegant and almost invisible constructions. Since the conventional glazing holders are not used, only panes in point retainers are used in this type of construction. The pane can be held in place in the joint or by borings.

The exact analysis of the forces exerted, shapes and movements, requires a high level of experience and constructive competence.
