An exciting project right in the heart of England’s capital: The St. Paul’s Information centre successfully demonstrates that even comparatively small projects can be designed and build to highest standards.

Several construction solutions were looked at in the early stages including a monocoque system. The final solution was driven by the architectural intent, and an even more iconic building was created with crisp and clear lines.

Standard rolls of stainless steel were used to generate the minimum of waste, while at the same time achieving the crisp folds. The length of the sheets of stainless steel are unusual and much longer than on other projects. The elements were all manufactured and formed off site because of the access issues and to be able to work more efficiently.
