The futuristic design of the New Technopolis Millenium Project has made it the centre of attraction in the middle of Norwich. The information and culture centre’s most striking feature is the spacious courtyard – Seele’s extensive skylight and façade solution enables a vast, unobstructed atmosphere which is appealing to the eye and mind. At the same time, the transparency in the forum creates a distinctive contrast to the massive outer brick building.

The roof construction with its aesthetically challenging design, is supported by arched steel chords. The glass and zinc roof components are shaped like a sail and give the building its characteristic appearance. The core of the architectonic concept is the fully glazed front façade which – combined with the semitransparent roof – provides enough light, as well as enabling a spectacular view of the Gothic church St. Peter.
